Naturally the debate over global warming continues. I don't buy the "settled science" line because it is always up for debate---and I think there is a global warming problem.
Strangely, global warming could lead to another ice age.
There is a current of water--the Atlantic Conveyor- that cruises north up the East Coast bringing warm water up from the tropics. When the ice caps melt, cold water floods into the Atlantic and the disrupts the Conveyor. This means no warm water moves northeast and even to Britain. So, the Arctic cold that is held back by the Conveyor creeps south...courtesy of global warming.
You can't win sometimes.
