It has been a week since the conclusion of the shocking 2016 election.I have had a week to digest it and look at reactions and think about it.That apparently puts me ahead of a lot of people.
One of many great things about America is that every four years, we have a revolution--they are called "elections". Then there is a peaceful transfer of power, something very rare in the world. We have been doing it for 240 years without incident.
People have the right to protest. Fine, its in the Constitution. Screaming obsencenities, destroying property and assualting others is not. That is a riot and you go to jail.
I did not see a Trump victory coming.
But it arrived.
It arrived because people were tired of corrupt politicans, political correctness, self-righteous "liberals" who try to shout down dissenting opinions and the general idiocy of the media.
"Student" protests by narrow minded people who did not even vote does not help. It is people like that who led to Trump's victory.
Every President gets a chance to see what he can do.
Trump deserves that chance.
So tell these self-righteous protesters to take a nap and wait to see what he does. People grow into job and find out what needs to be done. That is why there is a transition period of a couple of months.
So have a seat and see what happens.
And stay off my property unless you are bringing pizza :-)
